♡ Welcome to Reptile Rescue San Juan Capistrano ♡ 

Hi all, my name is Kayla and I own this rescue! Here, we like to call our rescue a haven for reptiles and amphibians alike. We follow all current ethical care practices to ensure our animals are getting the enclosure size, substrate, lighting, heating, and overall husbandry that they need to thrive. Here at Reptile Rescue San Juan Capistrano, our animals THRIVE instead of SURVIVE! We are always here to educate you so you can do the same. 

All new intakes are placed in quarantine for

 2-3 weeks in a minimalistic setup where we can monitor eating, shedding, bowel movements, and activity. To ensure health, we take all animals to our vet for a full body exam. After this period they receive the setup of their dreams and are placed for adoption! 

Unfortunately, we are not able to take in any more bearded dragons or ball pythons at this time. We have many of both species that have been waiting a very long time to get adopted. So so sorry for any inconvenience
